3D PUFF EMBROIDERY

Cap Constraints of 3D Puff Cap Embroidery

When embroidery a cap we are restricted to set height and a set width of the cap itself. Different caps have different sizes, but here is a guide below.

Height – 60mm, which starts from 10mm from the base of the peak.
Width – 125mm across the front of the cap.

*Sizes vary from cap to cap as peak sizes vary.

Custom Layered 3D Embroidery

This is a layered 3D embroidery which is achieved by placing a embroidery layer under the 3D puff area.
This raises the design up and away from the garments surface, however it increases the stitch count of the embroidery, which will make it more costly.
The layered 3-D effect allows you to have greater detail than the Puff, however a very detailed design works best with standard embroidery stitching.

Summary for a good 3D puff Embroidery

  • Thick lettering or shapes from 3mm to 12.7mm
  • Good Spacing betwenn lettering or shapes
  • Round off endpoints for a cleaner finish
  • No intense detail
